This is a U.S. model with automatic transmission, and factory air-conditioning. It is DB 334G blue and has about 42,000 miles on it. The previous owner bought the car in 1967 and kept it for 30 years in a one-car garage he built specifically for this car. The only time the car came out of the garage was for Saturday afternoon picnics. The owners would put the top down, the wife would put on her wide-brimmed hat and they would go out on the grass with the car at the local park and have a picnic. The gentleman admitted that this was primarily to show off.
He claims that he got caught in the rain only twice in those thirty years. The condition of the car would substantiate his claim. This car is, by far, the most original, the straightest and most solid convertible I have ever had the privilege of being involved with.
The car was originally sold by a dealer in the D.C. area and was located in Chevy Chase, Maryland, for the 30 years that the previous owner had the car. I bought the car in Dec. 1997 at which point it made the trip to Northern Nevada.
These pictures where taken for my "pre-purchase" inspection trip.
