| Options and Option Code numbers |
Deciphering Option Codes represents an ongoing task. As certain options have become obsolete, the option code numbers have been removed from various lists, or have been assigned to new, entirely different, options.
For this reason, I have included only the option code information I can prove to be accurate. "Proof" is in the form of original factory publications that specifically identify the 112 chassis 300SE cars as being included in the publication.
The defined option codes in the following list are correlated with the specific publication to better identify when the option was available.
It should also be pointed out that not all possible option codes are included in the list. Several of the my cars' data cards include codes which I have not yet been able to define, so I expect that you may have the same experience.
